The story behind the brand
Hey, I’m Amina, founder of HOUSE OF RETROGRADE.
Fashion has been my first love since I was 7, but life didn’t take me down the fashion path right away. Instead, it led me to astrology, a tool that helped me heal, grow, and fall in love with who I am.
When I looked for astrology clothing that matched my style, I found… nothing. Everything felt too woo-woo, too literal, or just not me. So, I started designing tees for myself. Something stylish but meaningful. Something wearable but still deeply personal. And that’s when it clicked:
I wasn’t the only one craving this.
HOUSE OF RETROGRADE was born out of that realisation. A love letter to all of us who want to own who we are and wear it proudly. Who want fashion that feels aligned and expressive.
